Learn more about the RackPack Transporters

Our custom designed transportation devices; the Grab-N-Go Lite, Grab-N-Go, RackStak, RackTrak, and RackStak Combo have been engirneered by the team here at Windy City Wire to make life easier for technicians in the eld. The Grab-N-Go is perfect for smaller projects, it's compact, lightweight, and handheld, making it super easy to move around in tight locations. It can handle up to 5,000 feet of RackPacked cable, which is more than enough for most small-scale installations and service work. The Grab-N-Go Lite is also available for those who need an even more compact solution, handling 3 to 4 RackPacks of cable or less.

For medium to large projects, the RackStak is a versatile dolly style, transporter option. It's durable, lightweight, and collapsible, making it easy to transport and store when not in use. The RackStak can accommodate 12 RackPacks or more, depending on the width of the Rack Packs being used, and it maneuvers easily up and down stairs, over rough terrain and through conned spaces and job sites. All this com bines to make it ideal for most installation usages, providing a balance between capacity and optimum mobility.

When it comes to large-scale installations, the RackTrak is our go-to transporter. It can easily accommodate 18,000+ feet of cable, providing significant cable pulling capacity. The RackTrak's locking wheels ensure safety, providing stability during cable pulls, helping to increase overall efficiency on big jobs.

These transporters are part of our complete RackPack Field Systems Solution, designed to work seamlessly with our SmartWire cables packaged in our patented RackPacks. With the unique construction of our RackPacks, featuring a wooden cable spool suspended by heavy-duty endcaps, integrators enjoy the benefits of smooth, tangle-free cable pulls. Each RackPack box comes with custom printed product details, easy-to-identify gauge and color ID tag, and a unique conductor ID and QR code label as well, making it easy to manage and identify cables on the jobsite.

By using our transporters in combination with RackPacks, technicians can significantly reduce labor costs and increase productivity. The side hole feature on the RackPacks align perfectly when placed side-by-side, allowing them to be secured to the transporters for a smoother, more efficient cable pull. Using RackPacks secured to a transportation device ensures that almost 100% of the energy exerted during cable pulling is applied directly to the unspooling of wire from the spool, reducing the force needed to pull the cable and minimizing waste. Allowing your team to pull more cable in less time and with fewer technicians on the job.

Overall, our transporters o er a practical and efficient way to manage and install low-voltage cables, saving time and reducing labor costs. They provide a streamlined approach to handling cables, making it easier for technicians to complete more installations in less time.
